Andrei Riskin was born in Moscow, Russia in 1975.
Continuing family tradition in visual arts he graduated
with a bachelor degree in 1997 and started his career
in photography in 2000. He completed his education in
San Francisco under guidance of such masters as Frank Espada and
Holman Turner.
Andrei is a member of National Press Photographers Association and CameraWorks SF.
In 2005-2007 he had three personal artshows:
"Russia, untitled", "Observations" and "Single mother project".
His work was recently published in "Transformation" magazine.
He currently lives and works in San Francisco and dedicates most of his time to
editorial
and
portrait
photography as well as a social documentary about working lives of caregivers - "Old man's place"
